PG Character Sketches

PG = "Prairie Gold" the [temp.?] name for this set of characters... whether they're for a story, a comic or whatever, I still haven't decided xD

Anyways, I'll introduce these people from left to right:

Wayne "Maverick" Marshall , "Mav" - longhorn steer (no one knows his real name xD *may change it*)
Mav is the star of this show. He's a rough kind of cowboy, living on his own and doing as he pleases. He was raised in the little town where they now live but spent a lot of time away from there through his late childhood-teens doing who-knows-what. Now he's back, though, and he's taking jobs herding cattle (lol) and rodeoing to make an honest living. He does have a terrible gambling addiction and would bet on anything he could think of. He's a real sharp-shooter and he has quick reflexes... which leaves the townfolk wondering where he picked that up... As for the drawing - something about his face/head isn't sitting right with me, so that may change. And he's leaning on a branding iron, BTW

Tommy "Butte" Hawkins - Jackalope (yeah, I know they don't exist, but I love 'em anyways)
Butte has been called Butte for as long as he can remember - no one calls him Tommy xD But anyways, Butte is Mav's best friend since childhood. He's reliable and hard-working, even though he's unfortunately just... naturally awkward. The poor guy is a little shorter than everyone else, and he's also very stout-ish. He's supersuper awkward when he's around a girl he likes... more about that later. Butte works as a stable hand for a lot of the people in town - scooping out stables and doing all the dirty work that the "good cowboys" don't want to. About the drawing - is he not the cutest little guy ever??!? xD *loves him*

Ellie May Hayes - Pronghorn Antelope
Ellie (name subject to change...) is the local tomboy cowgirl x) She's the girl Mav is most comfortable around, though he sometimes makes the mistake of treating her too much like "one of the guys". She's the voice of reason and she also looks out for Butte and Mav to do her best to keep them out of trouble (she has her work cut out for her there). She finds Charlotte super annoying. About the drawing: *likes it*

Charlotte Cunningham - Prairie Dog
Charlotte is the ultra-beautiful only daughter of a super rich oil/gold miner and is spoiled rotten. She's typically kind of a bitch to lots of people (especially Butte, who cleans her stables and takes care of her horses) but a lot of that isn't her fault - she was just raised to be an ungrateful little spoiled brat. Who knows? Maybe someday that will change... For now, though, she just likes getting expensive hats and dresses in the mail from the latest fashions out east. *wants a dress like that*

Mabel Dixon - Sage Grouse
Mabel is our local saloon girl/whore/barmaid! She's not REALLY a whore... but she can be. She's just a lot cleaner than whores are now a-days if that makes any sense. She's a really nice, down-to-earth girl, though. And, when she's not soliciting the attention of men in the saloon, she's offering good, intellectual conversation and advice to anyone who wants it x) About the drawing: *totally loves her* Would you believe me if I told you I've worn an outfit like that? xD!!! IT'S TRUE! I wore it for the dream sequence when I was in Oklahoma! *got to be one of the whores in the nightmare*

Bartholomew "Bart" Garrett - American Bison
Bart (I keep wanting to just call him "Black Bart", but I know that's taken... right?) is like... the western godfather. He's big, and he gets what he wants when he wants or people pay. He's an outlaw, a villain, a criminal... and he's the type who would totally tie a fair maid to railroad tracks (!!) He seems to like causing trouble for Mav especially. About the drawing: I don't like it Drawing an anthro buffalo is HARD!! Any suggestions on how to fix it and make him look more evil/outlawish, please share!

So yeah - suggestions on what to fix (name re-suggestions, too!) and what colors to use are welcome and appreciated!
